About us

The Norfolk & Suffolk HPR Field Trial Club was formed over 20 years ago by a small group of enthusiasts to help HPR (Hunt, Point, Retrieve) dog owners living in the eastern region train their dogs for the shooting field, working tests and hopefully on to field trial standard. The club has grown and developed since those early days, but remains committed to providing all HPR owners with the opportunity to learn how to train and handle these wonderful dogs in a suitable and safe environment. All HPR’s have strong hunting instincts and all owners should seriously consider allowing their dogs to fulfil them by training with them as a handler and working dog partnership.
