Nutrition & Galen Myotherapy Seminar

The Norfolk & Suffolk HPR Field Trial Club are pleased to announce a Nutrition and Myotherapy seminar to be held on Saturday 29th April, 2017 at Langham Community Centre, nr Colchester, Essex.
We are very pleased to have Dr Jacqueline Boyd BSc (Hons), MSc, PhD, PGCHE, FHEA, MSB, Lecturer in Animal Science from Nottingham Trent University come to speak on nutrition. Jacqueline will not tell you one dog food is better than the other or that raw is better than kibble. What she will talk about are ingredients and how they affect your dog. From pets to working dogs. Dogs of all breeds.
Lisa Baker BA Hons, is a qualified Galen Myotherapist. Myotherapy is a specialised muscle treatment that is hands-on and totally targeted to functionally and therapeutically manage the condition that is being presented by the dog.
Myotherapy can also assist with the canine athlete by manipulating muscles to enable optimum performance, along with specialised exercises for targeting muscles, strengthening core stability and creating the correct muscle patterning for overall balance of the dog.
The seminar will start at 10 a.m. with teas and coffees available from 9.30 a.m. Lunch is included with refreshments. We will aim to finish with a Q&A session and close the day by 5 p.m.
Entrance fee will be £15 for Norfolk & Suffolk HPR Field Trial Club members and £20 for non club members. The day shall be made available to all Clubs and all breeds. Further details attached. Tickets will not be posted but a confirmation email will be sent if you add your email address to the application form attached. Full details with directions attached. Half day price is not possible, however, if you only wish to stay for one or other speaker that will be acceptable, but the full fee will be payable.
